Details:
FuturArc Prize 2009 is organised by FuturArc Journal. The FuturArc Prize was launched in 2007 by the BCI Group of Companies through its publication arm, FuturArc Journal, to seek out innovative Green building designs for sites in Australasia. The Competition has two objectives: first, to create a platform for talented individuals – professionals and students – who are keen on environmental issues; second, to encourage the construction industry as a whole to move towards sustainable design.

There is no fee for registration.

Each Individual Entrant must complete and submit an entry form available online on the FuturArc Prize 2009 Competition website. The Leader of a Team Entrant must complete and submit an entry form available online on the FuturArc Prize 2009 Competition website

This year’s competition offers entrants a choice of two briefs. Option 1 is a hypothetical project set in the near future for which entrants may select a site in the cities in which they reside. The second is an actual project brief and site contributed by a developer in Indonesia.

The FuturArc Prize 2009 Competition is open internationally to any Individual or Team meeting eligibility requirements. The competition is divided into two categories: Professional and Student.
