The contest is open to Engineering and Science students from universities in India.

The PSoCTM Innovator Design Challenge India 2008: (PSoC IDC India), is designed to recognize and award innovative uses of Cypress ® PSoC family of devices.  To enter the Contest, participants must submit an abstract explaining their design idea and how the PSoC device will be used in the design using online form located on the official contest web site: www.psocidcindia.com .

The design must use Cypress PSoC devices in an innovative manner and there must be a working prototype in order to win the contest.  There are two tracks to choose from: wired and wireless.  The kits to be used are the CY3210-PSOCEVAL1-U for the wired design and the CY3209EXPRESSEVK for the wireless design.

The design kits will be provided at a significant discount for the contest entrants. The contest entrants can buy CY3210-PSOCEVAL1-U at Rs.2000/- and CY3209EXPRESSEVK at Rs.3000/.
