Techkriti is annual Science and Technology festival of IIT,Kanpur. Techkriti’09 aspires to get the most talented minds from across the length and breadth of the country and let them free on a battlefield littered with contests designed to test the best of them. The arena also serves as a social forum for people from diverse backgrounds to meet and have fun and essentially geek out.

The central idea of Techkriti’09 is to come up with ideas that change the course of human history – “transforming thoughts” are indeed the holy grail of innovations. Techkriti is also about transforming thoughts into reality; practicality and feasibility have been the elixir of existence.Techkriti 2008 had it all – competitions that tingled your grey cells,talks by Nobel laureates and also an immense amount of fun and frolic. Techkriti 2009 sets out to go one step further; it promises to provide an even better platform for emerging talent to fulfill their dreams.
