Convergence is an annual workshop organized by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE). This workshop is aimed at bringing together experts from the industry and academia working in virtualization technologies to provide an integrated view of their research and experiences, for an audience from the industry, academia and the student community. Over the years, Convergence has attracted enthusiastic participation from faculty members, professionals from industry and students of the top research institutes around the country. The event also receives significant support from the industry every year. It is our sincere endeavor to build a platform for researchers to share their work with the rest of the community. From 2001 onwards, the workshop has seen different themes such as Wireless Communications, Data Mining, Computing Infrastructure in Enterprise Networks, and Databases. This year the focus is on the research in Virtualisation.
