Nimbus is the annual Technical fest of National Institute of Technology, Hamirpur. Nimbus2008 is the platform where one will be provided with many such opportunities to bring their creativity and innovation to life and test their skills and knowledge over a wide spectrum of competitions and events. With eminent personalities on board for guest lectures and workshops this journey will be a venture of learning, creativity and fun. But there are not all work and no play, rest assured there will be many informal events during the festival too. The journey will take one through the technologies that connect to information and will widen one’s horizons virtually without limit.

The various events waiting in line are Innovation Unlimited, Blueprints- consists of design contests, Compilers Fiesta-programming contests and coding problems, Battlezone- modern arenas of virtual and real games, Down 2 Earth- events testing creativity and basics of engineering, Materminds- host of quizzes designed to test technical savvy and Archnouveau- Architectural Spectrum of Nimbus. Numerous lectures and workshops are also scheduled for the fest.
