SAE International is a non profit educational and scientific organization dedicated to advancing mobility technology to better serve humanity. SAE International has more than 90,000 members - engineers, business executives, educators, and students from more than 97 countries - who share information and exchange ideas for advancing the engineering of mobility systems. SAE is your one-stop resource for standards development, events, and technical information and expertise used in designing, building, maintaining, and operating self-propelled vehicles for use on land or sea, in air or space.
The various Affiliate Organizations are PAMA, Performance Review Institute, SAE Foundation, SAE BRASIL, SAE INDIA, SAE UK, SAE Institute.
Awards and Scholarships:
SAE offers a wide variety of awards, scholarships, loans and internships for engineering students and faculty through the SAE Foundation. Programs are available for every phase of a student’s engineering education.

Scholarships:
Money is available for both undergraduate and graduate engineering students. Several of SAE’s scholarships are funded by donations from corporations such as BMW, John Deere, Hendrickson, Honda, Mercedes-Benz, TMC, Toyota, Yanmar Diesel and Young Radiator that help students realize their dream of becoming a professional engineer.
