For Whom: Candidates pursuing III year of B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc. (Engg.)/Integrated M.E./M.Tech. programme and first year of M.Sc./M.A./MBA with outstanding academic background in terms of high ranks (within three ranks) in University examinations.

Indian Institute of Technology Madras, is one among the foremost institutes of national importance in higher technological education, basic and applied research.This Summer Fellowship Programme is being conducted for a duration of two months with a fixed stipend of Rs 6500/- aiming to enhance interest in high quality academic research among young Engineering, Management, Sciences and Humanities students .

    I’m afraid the deadline for this passed on Feb 15, 2008. From what I read, I think it should be applicable.
