For Whom:
Students already enrolled in a Graduate program at MIT or students accepted to enroll in a graduate degree program at MIT for the 2008-2009 academic year.

The Legatum Fellowships will provide support to students who are motivated by a desire to apply their talents to grassroots commercial solutions in School of Management, Architecture and Urban Planning; Engineering; Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences; and Sciences- will engage in a cross-faculty program drawing upon the expertise of all of MIT’s programs and Laboratories.

The Center will support the Legatum Fellows with a number of programs, offering developmental entrepreneurship education through action labs; orchestrating special events and activities bolstering development-oriented entrepreneurship; working with the peer International Development Network (IDN) of programs and initiatives at MIT; building the developmental entrepreneurship network (DEN); and MIT-wide competitions fostering invention and entrepreneurship for development.
