Backwaters is one of the most highly anticipated management events in the country and B-school students across the country look forward to it each year. Last year’s Backwaters saw more than 1000 online participants and 500 students coming down to campus to take part in it. This year the fest is even bigger than ever before with corporate as well as participation from foreign management students. The flagship event of Backwaters is Reliance White Knight, in which participants have to come up with a business plan based on the theme of ‘Urban Development which will help solve teething problems of urban India. In association with Sony Entertainment Television (SET), Backwaters also present a unique event.

Backwaters 2008 celebrates the on-going evolution of Business in India and extends a challenge to all those who would like to play a greater part in shaping the course of things to come. Don’t be content with the way things are, step up and incite the change – not only in the world at large, but within yourself. Evolution is not about being what you are. It’s about becoming better with every passing day.
